AI recommends. People decide.
Zerqis never posts an accounting decision on its own. It does the routine work and leaves judgement and sign-off with your team.
Zerqis exists because month-end close is mostly repetition punctuated by a few decisions that genuinely need an accountant — and most software treats both the same way.
Spend a week inside an outsourced accounting team and the pattern is hard to miss. The same vendors appear every month at roughly the same amounts. Someone categorizes them anyway. Then the genuinely unusual items — the duplicate, the wire with no history, the amount an order of magnitude off — are found late, because they were buried in everything else.
The routine work is what consumes the close. The exceptions are what determine whether it is right. Zerqis is built to separate the two, so a team spends its attention on the second.
We are not building something that posts entries on its own authority. In accounting, an unexplained automated decision is a liability rather than a saving — which is why every suggestion in Zerqis carries its reasoning and waits for a person to approve it.
Zerqis is pre-launch, working with a small group of design partners running real closes. That is stated plainly across this site: no customer logos we do not have, no results we have not measured. If you would like to be one of those partners, we would like to hear from you.
Four principles that decide what gets built and what does not.

A suggestion without its evidence is a guess. Every categorization carries the history and rules it came from.
The goal is not a faster reviewer. It is a month where the reviewer never had to look at the eight hundred transactions that were obvious.
No invented customers, no metrics dressed up as results, no compliance badges we have not earned. You will find that consistently across this site.
