Terms of Service

The basis on which Zerqis is provided today, written plainly rather than at length.

Zerqis is pre-launch. These are summary terms published for transparency, not an executed agreement, and they have not been reviewed by counsel. Design partners operate under a separate written agreement — ask us for it.

The service

Zerqis provides software for managing month-end close: importing transactions, categorizing them, raising exceptions, tracking client questions and recording review and approval.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you import and for the accounting decisions you approve.
  • You are responsible for having the right to process the client data you put into the product.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

What Zerqis does not do

Zerqis suggests categorizations and surfaces exceptions. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not post an accounting decision without a person approving it. Final responsibility for the books remains with your firm.

Availability

During the pre-launch phase there is no contractual uptime commitment. Where a design-partner agreement sets service levels, that agreement takes precedence over this page.

Your data

You retain ownership of the data you put into Zerqis. We hold it to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and will export and delete it on request.

Fees

Pricing is agreed per firm during the pre-launch phase. No rates are published on this site, and nothing here constitutes an offer at a particular price.

Ending the arrangement

You can stop using Zerqis at any time and take your data with you. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing the service.
